How would our patients describe us? We have heard “compassionate,” “caring,” “determined to do good work,” “detailed,” “laidback and friendly but professional,” and we love it!
Unlike a clinic that might have a rotating staff, our team is dedicated to building long-term relationships with our patients based on trust, understanding, and true friendship. Every individual is important to us on their own terms and that helps people feel comfortable staying with us for the long run. In fact, we are now seeing second and third generation patients!
Because of these relationships, our team is also dedicated to excellence – growing and learning in every way they can so every patient receives the care he or she deserves.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Jack Weiss has always loved building things. It started when he was just a kid and continued when he decided he wanted to build beautiful smiles and improve people’s health in the dental field. When he is not crafting life-changing smiles, he works to restore vintage cars, currently a 1960 MGA. In every way, Dr. Jack is a builder of refinement and strength.
A 1982 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, Dr. Jack never stops learning and growing. He has certifications in Invisalign, IMTEC mini implants, NTI splint therapy for bruxism and migraines, and sleep apnea therapy.
Dr. Jack volunteers his time at Jones Valley Farm, an educational farm for inner-city and Birmingham schools. He is also very involved in sports and has coached youth soccer for over 15 years.
When he is not building beautiful smiles, restoring cars, or helping young people, he loves spending family time with his wife Laurie, his children, and his grandchildren.
Meet the Team
Office Manager: Ana Nunez
Ana has been with Weiss Dental since the end of December 2021. She has been in the dental field for over three years and has the privilege of learning so much throughout her career. She is very passionate about helping others in helping them understand their insurance/billing questions.
She welcomed her first baby in September, she is overjoyed with happiness with her daughter Vanessa. Aside from spending time with her daughter and family, she enjoys working out and being outdoors.
Lead Dental Assistant: Marion Lopez
She is our lead Dental Assistant. She attended Jefferson State Community College and is bilingual. Her bubbly personality and positive attitude make her patients feel at ease with her. She resides in Pelham and loves to spend time with her family on the weekends.
